Monthly Alumni Chapter Meeting

Ebenezer United Methodist Church
7312 North Main | Houston, TX 77023
The collegiate experience at JSU helped to shape and define us into the people we are and will yet become. But the love of JSU did not cease when we left Lynch Street. Membership in HAAC offers alums the opportunity to ENGAGE with those who share similar experiences and also share a genuine love for JSU!
HAAC offers members several opportunities each year to CONNECT both locally and nationally with fellow alums.
Additionally, membership in HAAC allows one numerous opportunities to CONNECT with our beloved JSU and the National Alumni Association.
Most importantly, HAAC membership affords alums the opportunity to collectively IMPACT the lives of others. Whether it is through financial giving, selfless volunteering at events or thoughtfully serving on HAAC committees, Houston area alums are the face of the university here, and we are making positive contributions to the continuation of our beloved alma mater.
Special Thanks to CenterPoint Energy for investing in JSUNAA! Our JSU grads who are CenterPoint employees applied for the grant by logging their volunteer hours from various HAAC programs and initiatives.
CenterPoint Energy’s Grant Incentives for Volunteer Employees (GIVE) program recognizes, supports and encourages employee volunteer efforts. The program awards $200-$500 grants to qualified nonprofit organizations based on volunteer involvement, with a requirement of forty or more volunteer hours.
